# Preserved core and runtime notices

These are exact copies/excerpts with source identities, not a license selected
for the user's host, browser adapter or product. File-specific notices also stay
in the prepared core sources. No placeholder copyright holder/year is invented.

`core-sources.json` records the pinned donor GPL3 text, its README license section,
GNU's complete GPL2/LGPL2.1 texts, and the existing Hermite attribution excerpt.
The original two attribution files and GPL3 copy retain their CRLF bytes.
GNU text files were retrieved from the recorded HTTPS URLs on2026-09-21.

The Hermite excerpt records what the pinned Mesen-S source says. Paul Bourke's
site previously redirected to an explicit crawler-denial page; it was not
retried or accessed through an alternate route for this packaging work. This
copy does not independently authenticate the quoted grant.

CRC32, Orfanidis and the two historical bsnes notices retain their separate
provenance and limitations in [DEPENDENCIES.md](../DEPENDENCIES.md).
The [runtime bundle](runtime/README.md) records SDK-derived notices. Shipping
source/distribution choice, complete SDK corresponding-source delivery and
native/iOS packaging remain open. Do not describe this directory as complete
release clearance merely because the principal license texts are present.
